Are youth services cancelled?

I walked into Sunday school this morning at exactly 11:40am and their was 9 youth out of 35 in class! I was so upset that all our youth has been slacking on Sunday School that I told the youth that were present that from that point on all services were cancelled until the youth department realized the importance of Sunday School.

When I came home and prayed about it I realized we have a service at Lynn Tech on March 2nd and we have a retiro this weekend to get ready for the event. So, after further thought we will not cancel services this week but, I want everyone of you to know that I am no longer going to play the skip Sunday School game.

From next Sunday on every youth from this group must attend Sunday School without excuses and on time. If I start noticing you can't make it to Sunday School we will cancel all vigilias until you can.

Thank You and see you tomorrow,

Nathan

p.s. Everyone be ready early because we are starting at 7 tomorrow... We have a lot to go over for the event at Lynn Tech and we need time...

  1. Hey everybody!

I just wanted to say, I know I've been slacking personally with my sunday school attendance, and I am determined to be present from now on in the name of Jesus...I'm a recovering skipper. Lol!
HOWEVER, I would like to strongly emphasize the point that for the most part, we're all still very young and have a lot to learn about the Word of God and what it means to be a Christian...I was born and raised in the Gospel, and I'm still a work in progress! Don't trip, God isn't through with me yet...ALABA!
It is very important that we come to sunday school, because that's the moment where we get to ask questions and get answers according to the Word. Don't get me wrong, I love having service and vigilias and praising God and buggin' out bajo la uncion, but when the trials and attacks come, buggin out isn't gonna get you through it. You can praise Him through the storm, yes, but how are you gonna know what to say if you don't know the Word? When you use the Word, and speak it, ain't nothin that can stop you. When Jesus fasted in the desert for 40 days and satan came to him, Jesus used the WORD. And if you wanna go deeper, John 1:1 says that "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God, and the Word was with God." In Mark chapter 4, Jesus told the waves to be quiet and the sea to be still, and it was so. See, you cannot fight with your own ideas and what you think is correct. You have to know the Word and use it...all these things that just came to mind, Glory goes to God, I learned in sunday school. and don't think you got it once you've read it, you gotta go back and read again and again and again, because The Bible is so profound and deep that you notice something new, God shows you something new each time you read.
I just had a tangent, but please guys n gals, let's all make the effort to go to sunday school. If it's difficult for you, don't stay up late saturday night! Suelta el telefono and sign off of AIM. ALABA!! I'm guilty of this this act as well, but I'm putting my foot down because this is the YEAR that VISION becomes REALITY, and it ain't gonna become a reality if I neglect my responsibilities in God!
    GLORY TO JESUS!!!

  2. PS: Jesus was the Word, therefore when the Word is present, there isn't a thing that can stop you, just so long as you are putting it in action and using it. Glory to God!
