Well just here taking it all in... There is no hispanic people in Baltimore. Angel is falling asleep in each service. Julio is still late for everything. Danny has been sleeping on a chair cause I kicked him off my bed the first night. The hotel is not bad. God uses Benny Hinn in a mighty way. And just want to end with this... "there is no such thing as tdc youth girls... we are tdc youth on fire. Instead of crying that you didn't come pray so you can be part of what's next." Love you all and miss you guys... GBU!!! My question is if we know how important prayer is why is it so difficult to have a disciplined prayer life?

Altar and Sacrifice

We all learned yesterday that their is two different types of altars in the Scriptures. One was an altar where anyone could place a sacrifice of peace and thanksgiving and the other only the Levites could tie the sacrifice to the horns and offer it to God.

The Apostle Paul told us in the book of Romans to be a living sacrifice unto God. How is your altar this morning? Is your altar suitable to place your life on for a good savoring aroma unto God? Will God be pleased to smell the smoke from your sacrifice?

If God is pleased His fire will come down to consume your life as a living sacrifice to Him...

It's all about faith... (Genesis 12:1)

What was the first thing God told Abraham? "Leave... (Meaning: trust me...)"

Faith is an action not just a doctrine we preach and teach in Sunday School. It is a dynamic force that propels us to do that which we understand and perceive as truth.

It doesn't matter how difficult something gets along the way as long as you know who sent you.

Be encouraged today as you work out your salvation through faith...

Resisting the enemy... Part 4

Warriors are made in the heat of battle.

What made David so feared by his enemies and esteemed by those who knew him personally?

David was a man of war.

From the beginning of his walk David's heart was full of resistance towards the enemy. His time tending his father's sheep made him understand that if he was going to be successful at anything then he was going to need to learn how to fight for what belonged to him and his family. David was able to beat down lions and bears but he didn't give up there. He had a giant or two that he needed to face. Those experiences David had as a young man were just a preparation for what was to come.

How can you become a warrior? The only way you can earn the title of warrior is if you are tested in life's struggles and battles and come out a winner. Fight young men and women of God and don't let the enemy just take you out without a fight... Resist the enemy! You will get the victory if you resist...

What a word by Jesus to his disciples. How could it be that even with Jesus and his group of followers there was one that had demonic forces at play? Can you imagine Jesus looking at Judas and saying in His mind, "...you poor soul, if you only knew your condition is clearly visible to me and I know what your doing and what you are planning to do..."

Why didn't Jesus kick Judas out of the group? Why didn't he just say, "devil get away from me!" Like he did with Peter?


Oh my dear youth it is with pain that I tell you that the devil is at play even in the finest group of young men and woman of God I've ever met. But, just like Judas and the devil couldn't detain nor hinder the mission Jesus came to accomplish he will not be able to hinder ours.

OPEN YOUR EYES AROUND YOU! THERE IS A DEVIL WAITING TO PLOT ON YOU AND TAKE YOU OUT OF WHAT GOD IS DOING. REBUKE A BROTHER OR SISTER WITH MEEKNESS AND HUMBLENESS SO HE MAY REPENT AND DON'T PARTICIPATE WITH THE DEEDS OF DARKNESS...

Lynn Tech 2009

Ok, so here is the scoop...

I went to Tech today to scan the caf before the event. Looks good. I spoke to the head of the custodians who was very helpful. I have a preliminary breakdown on how we need to do this on Monday.

Also, I have the promo's! I will give some out tonight but will go over the plan of attack on Thursday. So Thursday night at 7pm all the youth report to TDC so we can go over the uniform colors, assignments and different ideas for the plan of attack. I can't pick up or drop off so find a ride... We will meet right at 7pm until about 9pm so get a ride home at about 9:30pm.

Also, please pray for the fast this weekend. Ask God to help us all! Amen!

Are youth services cancelled?

I walked into Sunday school this morning at exactly 11:40am and their was 9 youth out of 35 in class! I was so upset that all our youth has been slacking on Sunday School that I told the youth that were present that from that point on all services were cancelled until the youth department realized the importance of Sunday School.

When I came home and prayed about it I realized we have a service at Lynn Tech on March 2nd and we have a retiro this weekend to get ready for the event. So, after further thought we will not cancel services this week but, I want everyone of you to know that I am no longer going to play the skip Sunday School game.

From next Sunday on every youth from this group must attend Sunday School without excuses and on time. If I start noticing you can't make it to Sunday School we will cancel all vigilias until you can.

Bringing it back...

Ay Santo! I'm still reminiscing on last nights vigilia... Glory!

Their is nothing better than to bring it back. I remember when we first started the vigilias... Wow! What glory that first night that God moved "Like neva before..."

Last night was one of those nights. When I saw the youth crying "YEEEAAAA I'll do it Jesus... I might have to give up some relationships but my soul says Yes... I might have to give up some things that I hold dear to but my soul says yes... You mean everything to me Jesus your the foremost in my life..." Ay Santo! I couldn't help but cry... :)

I was like Lord, I love you, Thank you.

Fraud is not of God!

As I read all your comments I came to the conclusion that someone has been active in fraudulent behavior. 19 out of 24 comments were not written by the person who signed it. Sarai doesn't know how to right and 9 comments were placed in 1 minute intervals.

Resisting the Enemy Part 3

2 Cronicas 31:7-9
{Spanish RVR1960} "Esforzaos y animaos; no temáis, ni tengáis miedo del rey de Asiria, ni de toda la multitud que con él viene; porque más hay con nosotros que con él. Con él está el brazo de carne, mas con nosotros está Jehová nuestro Dios para ayudarnos y pelear nuestras batallas..."

{English NIV} "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. With him is only the arm of flesh, but with us is the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles..."

IN the passage above we see a man of God (King Hezekiah) fighting one of his biggest battles ever. The king from Assyria and his letters of intimidation had caused the people to fear in the sight of his blasphemy's against God.

King Hezekiah was in the middle of a revival when this suddenly occurred. Why do you think the enemy stands up against you when you are in the best of times? Isn't it funny how when you are fasting and praying the most is when the enemy tends to stand up against you? Why if you are doing God's will does the enemy stand up so forcefully?

Let me tell you warrior of God... The only reason why the enemy is coming against you is because you are causing harm to his kingdom. Let it be known that when Hezekiah felt at his worst moment he... PRAYED! Consulted the prophet Isaiah and encouraged the people to believe in the Almighty.

Read the life of Hezekiah in the book of 2 Kings and compare it to the book of 2 Chronicles and you will see a man of faith and dedication towards God. He didn't give up even when challenged with an invading king...

Don't give up! Resist the Enemy!

Isaiah 59:19 "...When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him."

2. The church has just invested in a very very high end laptop to edit the videos. Ay Santo! This will enable us to do many things guys. The Glory goes to GOD! So all you bored youth... Get Ready!

Since I'm going to be at school tomorrow I need Danny to get ready to go to the tv station at 3:00pm for a lesson in the studio with Lizardo and I also need Solmaria to prepare a message to preach in the program tomorrow. {It can be in english if you want} Please Sol, be there at exactly 3:00pm.

6. Please pray for Lynn Tech. Remember God is going to do powerful things there. Last night after we played basketball we went on an all out warfare session and God was moving. I know God is going to do powerful things there.

Resisting the enemy Part 2

Nehemiah 6:5-9 states the following:
{Then Sanballat sent his servant to me as before, the fifth time, with an open letter in his hand. In it was written: It is reported among the nations, and Geshem says, that you and the Jews plan to rebel; therefore, according to these rumors, you are rebuilding the wall, that you may be their king. And you have also appointed prophets to proclaim concerning you at Jerusalem, saying, “There is a king in Judah!” Now these matters will be reported to the king. So come, therefore, and let us consult together. Then I sent to him, saying, “No such things as you say are being done, but you invent them in your own heart.” For they all were trying to make us afraid, saying, “Their hands will be weakened in the work, and it will not be done.” Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands.}

There is a scheme of the enemy that we need pay close attention to. Notice how Nehemiah declares the intention of the enemy against him and his followers it was to scare them so that their hands would be weakened in the battle.

How did Nehemiah resist the enemy? Notice verse 9 ends with a prayer to God, “Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands.”

Remember, this youth group is doing so much right now for God. I know it is not easy for you guys. We are in numerous battles right now and the enemy is trying to hit us from different fronts. Keep your heads up hold your rifle tight and don’t you dare ever give up. Pray like Nehemiah, GOD STRENGTHEN MY HANDS.

TDC Youth, you will make it! We shall prevail! Lynn is for Christ! Mentira del diablo que ahora nos vamos a devolver! Ahora es que vamos a conquistar lo que Dios nos ha entregado! Can I...?

Everyone is asking nowadays...

Can I go to the movies with my friends? Can I drink a little beer if I don't get drunk? Can I have a girlfriend/boyfriend as long as we don't have sex? Can I smoke cigarettes? Can I listen to a little Beyonce and Lil'Wayne? Can I go to a club? Can I hang out with my friends at some one's house until 3:00am in the morning? Can I text my life problems to people I don't know on myspace and aim? Can I yell abusively to my parents just because I don't feel good? Can I quit school and sleep all day? Can I have an abortion? Can I...? Can I...? Can I...?

Plain and simple... YES YOU CAN!

Love. We all need it.

The apostle Paul writting to the Ephesians said the following, "May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. (Eph3:19)" Truly God's love is so powerful no one can truly understand it. It is above comprehension.

I once heard a testimony about a guy who killed like 7-8 woman and hated the world. After years of depression and suicidal thoughts in jail one day someone gave him a Bible. He started every night reading and learning about God's love towards him and towards the world. Immediately for the first time he actually felt sorry for what he had done because his heart was filled with overwhelming love towards humanity. There is only one thing that can bring us together TDC youth. That is the love of Christ with all purity and holiness in each one of our hearts. I will probably never openly admit this in public again... I love you guys! GBU!

Update: Video Camera and Pic's

I was at the Lynn Cam studio today producing a program with Danny. Here is the scoop. I got permission to use the latest editing software to produce our videos free of charge on Saturday afternoons. Anyone with time and talent can learn how to edit and produce quality video for both youtube and our program on Lynn Cam.

I need someone to open an account with photobucket and then upload all the pic's for the youth so I can add it to the blog. I know some good pictures are out there so someone open the account and post the login so we can all take a turn to upload the pics.

What is all this fuss about the snacks... Geeeeese you guys are something else.

Ok, here is the truth and nothing but the truth... I Forgot to ask Beverly's mom where she put it and if she even brought it to church last night cause I was on a mission. So, neither Joey or any other guys knew where the snacks were, but, whoever gets to sunday school has first dibs... Alaba!

Resisting the enemy...

This post is based on a convo I just had with Danny D...

Reality check. We are in a battle. How is it that all of us are struggling one way or another? Have you ever asked yourself why after those powerful services and vigilias we have all of a sudden we feel horrible? We pray and fast and two seconds later we mess up... What is going on?

Well, clearly the enemy is not happy with what we are doing. "Le tamo dando duro al reino de la tiniebla!" That is why sometimes its hard even to pray and to continue walking. Just think of how many liberation sessions we have gone through in like the last month or how many slamming services we have had. You think the enemy is happy? How about my sister coming to Christ again or Nelson's mom visiting the church? All this is spiritual warfare my brothers and sisters!

All I can say is "RESIST!" If you pray and fast and seek God with all your heart you will build a wall of resistance against the enemy's schemes and will be able to win when it is all said and done. Some of you are fighting with hell itself yet the more you fight the more you will be able to keep resisting. Don't give up! Don't give in! The devil is a liar! TDC Youth is in this to win it!!! "Cuando estes en el desierto hecha fuera a satanas..." Alaba! Ay Santo!

1. Powerful vigilia tonight (Can't wait...) After Friday Service a concerned parent will be providing some snacks so no one has permission to leave the church. All youth who leave will be asked not to come back :(

2009 From Vision to Reality...

As I sit here late at night bugging out on our new blog I remembered that I have to get up at 4:00am to drop my "papi" at the airport tonight. Wow... gotta go.
